About the journal
The processing, transmission, storage, and use of information, and the foundations of the communication process. It specifically encompasses theoretical and certain applied aspects of coding, communications and communications networks, complexity and cryptography, detection and estimation, learning, Shannon Theory, and stochastic processes.
Instructions to Authors
The IEEE Transactions on Information Theory is a journal that publishes theoretical and experimental papers concerned with the transmission, processing, and utilization of information. Original papers are considered for publication within the following Editorial Areas:

Before submitting a paper to the journal, please read the following instructions carefully. We are unable to process a submission if it is incomplete or sent to the wrong address.
