About the journal
Ginekologia Polska is a monthly medical journal published in Polish and English. Ginekologia Polska will accept submissions relating to any aspect of gynaecology, obstetrics and areas directly related. Ginekologia Polska publishes original contributions, comparative works, case studies, letters to the editor and many other categories of articles
Instructions to Authors

I. General guidelines

  1. ‘Ginekologia Polska’ is a monthly medical journal published in Polish and English language.
  2. ‘Ginekologia Polska’ will accept submissions relating to any aspect of gynaecology, obstetrics and areas directly related. ‘Ginekologia Polska’ publishes original contributions, comparative works, case studies, letters to the editor and many other categories of articles.
  3. Published manuscripts become permanent property of Polskie Towarzystwo Ginekologiczne and ‘Ginekologia Polska’ and may not be published elsewhere without written consent of the publisher, with the exception of the abstract. The articles published in this journal are protected by copyright, which covers translation rights and the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute all of the articles printed in the journal. Unauthorized use of Polskie Towarzystwo Ginekologiczne and ‘Ginekologia Polska’ name, logo, or any content for commercial purposes or to promote commercial goods and services (in any format, including print, video, audio, and digital) is forbidden.
  4. For all manuscripts reporting data from studies involving human participants, formal review and approval, or formal review and waiver, by an appropriate institutional review board or ethics committee is required and should be described in the Methods section. For those investigators who do not have formal ethics review committees, the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki should be followed. For investigations of humans, state in the Material and methods section the manner in which informed consent was obtained from the study participants (i.e., oral or written). Editors may request that authors provide documentation of the formal review and recommendation from the institutional review board or ethics committee responsible for oversight of the study. No first name, surname, patient initials or patient chart number can be revealed. In the event of the risk of patient identification, a signed statement of informed consent to publish (in print and online) patient descriptions, photographs, and pedigrees should be obtained from all persons (parents or legal guardians for minors) who can be identified (including by the patients themselves) in such written descriptions, photographs, or pedigrees and should be submitted with the manuscript and indicated in the Acknowledgment section of the manuscript. Such persons should be shown the manuscript before its submission.
