Biometrika is primarily a journal of statistics in which emphasis is placed on papers containing original theoretical contributions of direct or potential value in applications. From time to time, papers in bordering fields are also published.
Biometrika is published by the Biometrika Trust and distributed by Oxford University Press.

Instructions to Authors
Three copies of manuscripts are required. Papers should be as concise as possible without detracting from clarity. For guidance on the stylistic requirements of manuscripts see vol.87 no.1. Papers submitted to Biometrika must neither have been published nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Alternatively, papers may be submitted electronically in pdf (preferably) or postscript format.
