About the journal
Publishes original research papers in all fields of mathematics. Arkiv för Matematik is a well established international mathematics journal. It is published by the Institut Mittag-Leffler, a research institute of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
One volume consisting of two issues published annually.

Submission
Please submit your manuscript with a covering letter saying that you want to submit to Arkiv för matematik
- either by e-mail as a pdf file to: wiberg@mittag-leffler.se
- or by post by sending one hard copy to: Arkiv för matematik Institut Mittag-Leffler Auravägen 17 SE-182 60 Djursholm SWEDEN
Normally, only manuscripts prepared using LaTeX (preferred) or TeX are accepted. Only in exceptional cases will papers of more than 30 pages be published. Allowable languages are English, French and German.
Copyright. By submitting a manuscript, an author acknowledges that it is not being considered, nor will be submitted, for publication elsewhere, and agrees that the sole copyright is transferred to the publisher. This transferal is revoked if and when the publisher decides not to publish the manuscript. The publisher's copyright covers the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the article by any means intended or effectively used to make it available for inspection, reading, or consultation, including, but not limited to, printing, reprinting, photocopying, and electronic means. The publisher grants the author, however, the right to have the submitted manuscript available on the author's own homepage and on public non-commercial servers such as http://arxiv.org.
Colour figures. Arkiv för matematik is printed in black/white. If you wish to have figures printed in colour, you have to be prepared to contribute to the extra costs. In the online version colour figures will appear free of charge.
Accepted manuscripts Once the author has received notice that the manuscript has been accepted for publishing, a final version should be prepared and submitted electronically. For details, please see Preparation of accepted manuscripts.

Preparation of accepted manuscripts
Please download afm-userguide.zip, where you find the seven files: userguide (afm-userguide.pdf) template (afm-template.tex) 5 style files (ml-afm-author.sty, mlsy10.mf, mlsymbol.mf, mlsy10.tfm & lesvjour.cls).

Changes
Note that changes other than typographical must be approved by the editor in charge.
Abstract
Please add an abstract at the beginning of your paper.
File preparation
Please follow the above userguide. Name the .tex and the .pdf files with the surname in small letters of the (first) author. Any macros or style files should be included. Figures should be submitted separately as encapsulated postscript (.eps) files. Please use includegraphics to embed figures.
File transfer
All files including a pfd file of the final version should be submitted as attachments to an e-mail to Margareta Wiberg, see address below.
Offprints
25 free offprints (total) will be supplied for each contribution, and a possibility to buy extra offprints will be given.
