The journal publishes regular papers, express communications, reviews, short original communications, case reports, and letters to the editor in English. The journal's scope includes morphology, molecular, biochemical, cytochemical, immunological, pathophysiological, molecular genetic, and comparative neuropathology data. The editors are particularly interested in interdisciplinary studies on abnormalities in structure, genetics, function, basic molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of neurological disorders. "Acta Neuropathologica" is the official organ of: the Research Group for Neuropathology, the Research Group for Comparative Neuropathology, the Research Group for Neurooncology, and the World Federation of Neurology Instructions to Authors Manuscript Submission Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities ¨C tacitly or explicitly ¨C at the institute where the work has been carried out.
