Funding
The South African Society for General Literary Studies will ask South African authors to contribute ZAR 250 a page, and international authors to contribute USD 25 a page, for an article published in the journal. As the Journal of Literary Studies is accredited, this amount can usually be met by the research subsidy earned by tertiary institutions in South Africa. If institutions do not pay this fee, it is the author’s responsibility to do so. The editors will consider waiving the fee on request.
