It appears quarterly and publishes peer-reviewed scientific contributions to all domains of psychology as well as book reviews. Contributions take the form of full-length articles or short reports. Psychologica Belgica is listed in all major indexes, including Current Contents and Psychological Abstracts.   Instructions to Authors Psychologica Belgica publishes scientific contributions to all domains of Psychology. Manuscripts are in English and should submitted in four copies to: Prof. Karl Verfaillie, Department of Psychology, University of Leuven, Tiensestraat 102, 3000 Leuven, Belgium. Phone +32-16-325966; Fax +32- 16-326099; or by e-mail Karl.Verfaillie@psy.kuleuven.ac.be Manuscripts should be prepared according to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA) (4th Ed.). The authors are also invited to consult a recent issue of the journal, and to read the editorial statement that appeared in issue 1 of Volume 34. Conditions for starting the review procedure: A manuscript can only be submitted with the explicit understanding that it is not under simultaneous consideration for any other publication and that its submission has been approved by the institution where the work was carried out. All manuscripts are subjected to blind reviewing. To that purpose the authors should take care to conceal their identity, by printing material that enables them to be identified on a separate sheet, and by avoiding inadverent disclosure of their identity in the manuscript itself. Printing is free of charge but corrections other than printer's errors may be charged to the author. Authors will receive 25 reprints per article free of charge. Please give special attention to the following: use double spacing include a running head and an abstract of 100-150 words Figures must be ready for production (no heavy lines or black surfaces) Figures and Tables must be reserved for important data directly related to the contents Double-check reference list and references in text Do not use abbreviations for periodicals Finally, we require that authors of accepted articles also supply an electronic version of their contribution, in the form of a 3.5' disquette containing an ASCII file or (preferably) a Word document.
