Form and Preparation of Manuscripts
All the articles will have to be sent in a printed version and another one with endorsement in "floppy disk", indicating the used text processor.
Original articles
INSTRUCTIONS To The AUTHORS Of the objectives and publishing policy EURE is a magazine specialized in urban and regional studies, that publish works referred to the territory in all their dimensions, privileging the investigations of interdisciplinary character that can be from utility for the territorial management. Consequently, when making the evaluation of the works received by EURE, is considered specially that the content of such: be referred explicitly to territorial phenomena related to the processes of urban, regional and local development; mean regional, urban and metropolitan a contribution as it bases for the establishment of policies of local development,; be referred to subjects of general interest in the matter, reason why those works will not be considered that, by their specific character, particular or excessively local, are of little relevance for other realities.
Of the arbitration of articles The articles received in the Magazine will be sent in anonymous form to two referees, who will be able to recommend: (a) its publication in its original form; (b) its subject publication to modifications; (c) his nonpublication. In case of taking place a discrepancy between the opinions, this one will be solved sending the article to a third referee. It despite, the final decision and unquestionable respect to the publication of an article is exclusive competition of the Publishing Committee of the Magazine.
The Director of the Magazine, with the authorization of the Publishing Committee, is authorized to ask for articles to authors of recognized prestige in the matter, who are exentos of being put under arbitration.
Of the terms of evaluation Once received articles, the Magazine will put under arbitration it as soon as is possible; once east initiate process, the stipulated term to solve on his publication or publication could not be superior to the 12 months.
Of the communication with the authors The Magazine will not give back the original ones published nor will not provide information respect to the evaluation state of articles before fulfilled the term respective. The decision respect to the publication or publication of articles will not be communicated to the authors by letter and/or electronic mail, once fulfilled the term established for the evaluation of such. In the case of articles that are rejected, the Publisher of the Magazine will inform opportunely to the authors on the reasons adduced for it by the respective referees or the Director of the Magazine.
Of the author rights At the time of accepting the publication of its articles in the Magazine, it will be understood that the authors yield to this one the rights to him on their works.
Of the norms for the article presentation All the articles presented/displayed to the Magazine must be fitted to the following norms. Those that they do not adjust to these instructions will be considered for their qualification: The articles must be presented/displayed in clear and concise Portuguese Spanish or.
The articles must be sent in two printed versions and another one with endorsement in floppy disk or CD ROM, in extension.doc (Word format).
In order to guarantee the anonymity of the authors, the articles presented/displayed to the Magazine do not have to contain referring data to the authors or elements of judgment that they identify to such. The information relative to articles, as well as the academic names of the authors, their degrees and their institutional connection, must be including in a file aside.
The extension of each article does not have to exceed the 30 pages so large letter to space and means, with letter type 12. In these 30 pages they will have to be including the graphs, maps, pictures and used bibliographical references. These last ones will be able to appear to simple space.
Each article must include a summary in Spanish or Portuguese, according to corresponds, as well as in English. This summary must synthesize, in a Maxima extension of 150 words, the objectives of the work, the formulated hypotheses and main the conclusions, and must go accompanied of a relation of key words, for effects of bibliographical indización.
The graphs, maps and pictures must be put in in the text, with the pertinent references. The images must be presented/displayed with a resolution that allows its suitable reproduction; those that does not fulfill this condition will be eliminated.
The separated titles, subtitles and must be ordered according to the following criterion: 1, 2, 3, etc. for the main titles; 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. etc. for the subtitles; and 1.1.1, 1.1.2., 1.1.3. etc. for the following sections.
Notes on footer with bibliographical references will not be included; other types of notes must be reduced as much as it is possible.
The bibliographical references must be including at the end of the article, containing the following generic elements in this order: author, title, year of publication, city of publication and editorial. The referenced book titles must go in itálica; the titles of articles must go in inverted commas, and the name of the periodic publication in which they have been published must go in itálica. The presented/displayed articles must original not be published in other magazines or books, safe in the cases in that the Publishing Committee specifically therefore determines it.
The authors of published articles will receive 3 units of the Magazine and 20 separatas of their article.
Of the norms for the presentation of bibliographical reviews The Magazine accepts the shipment of book reviews recent, relative to urban and regional subjects. The reviews must be unpublished, and are free of the arbitration process, falling to the Director and/or Publisher of the Magazine the decision to publish them or not to publish them. The established term to notify the author of this decision, by letter and/or electronic mail, is of 3 months.
The Director and/or Publisher of the Magazine are authorized to ask for reviews specifically.
All the reviews presented/displayed to the Magazine must be fitted to the following norms. Those that they do not adjust to these instructions will be considered for their evaluation: The reviews must be presented/displayed in clear and concise Spanish.
The reviews must be sent in a printed version and another one with endorsement in floppy disk, in extension.doc (Word format).
The extension of each review does not have to exceed the 5 pages so large letter to space and means, with letter type 12.
In the headed one of each review one is due to include, in addition to the name of the author of the same one, the following generic elements in this order: name of the reviewed author, title of the book, city of publication and editorial.
One is due to include in addition, in an attached file, an image with the cover of the reviewed book, in format.jpg and in a size that allows its suitable reproduction.
The authors of the published reviews will receive a unit of the Magazine.

The single presentation of the works to the Magazine implies the acceptance of these norms.
