Manuscript Submission Guidelines:
Crime and Delinquency Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

Authors submit your manuscript by going to: http://editorialexpress.com/cad

All submissions must be in a PDF format.

1. The title page is a separate PDF file which includes: 1) title of the article; 2) author's (and co-authors) full name, current position, affiliation, institutional and email address, telephone and fax numbers; 3) up to five key words as it should appear if it were to be published; (d) a short biographical note of each author as it should appear if it were to be published. Notes: a) Be sure to include all contact information for co-authors, and b) If there are multiple authors, please indicate the designated corresponding author.

2. Manuscripts are to be submitted in PDF format with no identifying information.

3. Graphics should be stored and sent as a separate PDF file.

4. Each manuscript should begin with an abstract of 100-120 words.

5. Manuscripts should not exceed 30 typed pages inclusive. Submissions exceeding 30 typed, double-spaced pages, Times New Roman font, Size 12 pitch, with notes, references, tables, and figures (the latter two to be held to a minimum) on separate pages will be accepted only in exceptional cases.

6. Manuscripts must be written in English.

7. References should follow the guidelines indicated in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.). Note: Use endnotes rather than footnotes.

8. Manuscripts are reviewed internally before they are sent out to external review ¨C up to 5 business days during peak times of the year.

9. Articles will normally be refereed by three or four external reviewers.

10. You should expect to hear from the journal within 6-8 weeks of submission, after peer-review process has been completed.

11. Copyright. Before publication authors are required to assign copyright to SAGE Publications. The transfer of copyright form can be accessed by clicking here.
