About the journal

Aims and scope
This journal provides up-to-date expert reviews in environmental health. The goal is to evaluate and synthesize original research in all disciplines relevant for environmental health sciences, including basic research, clinical research, epidemiology, and environmental policy. The reviews are intended to serve professionals involved in environmental health education, practice, regulation, and research. The journal covers a wide series of topics including air pollution, metals and synthetic chemicals, early life exposures, global health challenges, environmental epigenetics, mechanisms of toxicity, and susceptibility factors. International leaders in the field serve as Section Editors and select the latest research covering major ongoing and emerging environmental health challenges. By reviewing the most important original research, this journal summarizes the latest environmental health advances and provides guidance for policy, interventions, and research.
