About the journal
BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of pregnancy and childbirth.
It is journal policy to publish work deemed by peer reviewers to be a coherent and sound addition to scientific knowledge and to put less emphasis on interest levels, provided that the research constitutes a useful contribution to the field.

Each article type published by BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth follows a specific format, as detailed in the corresponding instructions for authors; please choose an article type from the list on the left to view the instructions for authors.
