About the journal
The journal Analele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta, Seria Matematica (in short An. St. Univ. Ovidius Constanta, Ser. Mat.) publishes original papers on pure and applied mathematics. Papers on theoretical physics, astronomy and informatics may be accepted if they present interesting mathematical results. Papers are published in English, and are freely downloadable in postscript and pdf formats.
We welcome submissions of papers of the following types:
- Long mathematical articles (not more than 30 pages) which present new mathematical results or are surveys on last progress in a branch of maths.
- Short notes with original mathematical results (2-6 pages).
- Letters to the Editors offering constructive criticisms on papers published in our journal.

The journal is indexed and reviewed by Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt MATH and is a Category A journal in the CNCSIS classification.
Starting 2008 the journal has been selected for coverage in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE)-Thomson Reuters.
This journal is also included in many digital directories of open resources in mathematics as EMIS ELibM, AMS Digital Mathematics Registry, Intute (UK), DOAJ (Lund University Libraries).

Manuscripts may be submitted electronically, by e-mail. Papers should be in LaTeX format, using the standard article document class, i.e.

The manuscript should also contain one or more key words which describe the important concepts of your paper, as well as 2000 Mathematical Reviews Classification numbers of your work.
Graphics files can be included in either LaTeX character graphics format or in PostScript format. To include PostScript files in your document, we prefer the macro commands inthe epsfig.sty.
Authors should make sure that the manuscripts submitted are ready for refereeing. Authors submitting an article affirm that the same manuscript is not concurrently submitted to another publication.
