About the journal
Indian Journal of Microbiology has been selected for coverage by Thomson Reuters/ISI. Beginning with V. 48 (1) 2008, this journal will be indexed and abstracted in Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as SciSearch®) and Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition. The first impact factor will be published in 2010.
This journal is the official publication of the Association of Microbiologists of India. It publishes full-length papers, short communication reviews and mini reviews on all aspects of microbiological research. Areas of special interest in the journal include agricultural, food, environmental, industrial, medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary and molecular microbiology.
