Instructions to Authors 1. Papers submitted by post (with an electronic copy) or by e-mail will be considered for publication in Environment Protection Engineering. They should deal with original research and may contain experimental as well as theoretical results. Engineering papers are also welcome provided their topics warrant wide attention. Environment Protection Engineering welcomes also conference reports and book reviews. 2. Papers will be considered for publication in Environment Protection Engineering if they have not previously been published elsewhere. All papers will be subjected to refereeing. 3. Manuscripts should be written in English. The Polish authors, in addition to the English translation of their papers, are also kindly request to send us the original version of the paper given in Polish. 4. Paper text must be typewritten in double spacing. There should be a margin of at least 4 cm on the left-hand side of the paper. A font size of 12 points is required. 5. Each paper should be preceded by and abstract in English of not more than 100 words. It must indicate the scope of the research and principal findings. 6. All illustrations, drawings and photographs should be placed separate from the running text. Drawings with captions must have the figure numbers, the author's name and the title of the article. 7. Tables also should be placed separate from the running text, numbered in Arabic numerals, and denoted in the text in the same way as figures are. 8. References should be numbered consecutively and listed after the text. Each citation should be referred in the key number. In the list of references, the following information should be given: . title of the paper, . journal, year of issue, volume, number and pages, . if book is cited: publishing house, place, and year of issue. 9. The author of each article will receive 20 reprints of Environment Protection Engineering free of charge.
