About the journal
AMC is thought to be a forum for original research articles in the broad area of mathematics of communications. It will cover all mathematical work that is expected to be relevant to applications in communications technology. For this reason we expect and encourage submissions from various areas of mathematics including -- but not limited to -- algebra (pure or applied), algebraic geometry, coding theory, cryptology, combinatorics, finite geometry, and number theory. Importantly, we also aim to cover the algorithmic and computational aspects of the disciplines involved. All mathematics and computer science contributions will be welcome provided they are of appropriate depth and relevance, and link to the above-mentioned applications in communications technology.
Instructions to Authors
Prepare your paper as a single PDF or PostScript file and send it to us
- using the online submission mechanism, or
- sending it per email attachment to EIC: Marcus Greferath
Apart from the PDF or PostScript file, we need the following information :
- Some keywords and AMS classifications
- Suggestion of two appropriate responsible editors.
For a definition of "responsible editor", see the list of editors and their interests. An acknowledgement from the editor in chief will be an indication that the paper has been properly submitted. Upon acceptance, we shall also need a signed copyright declaration form which must be sent to us by ordinary mail.
Manuscripts should be in English and must meet common standards of usage and grammar.
Submission of a manuscript the author(s) assure that the work has not been previously published, has not been copyrighted, is not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and that its submission has been approved by all of the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out; furthermore, that any person cited as a source of personal communications has approved such citation, and that the authors have agreed that the copyright in the article shall be assigned exclusively to the publisher upon acceptance of the article. The manuscript will not be returned. Articles should be prepared using some flavour of LaTeX. For submission purposes authors may use any format for the article that they wish provided the page size is 8.5 X 11 inches (21.5 X 28 cm). Please see Tex file preparation for detaied information.
After a paper is accepted:
Author(s) may prepare their files using AMC templates and provide high resolution figures (if any) to ensure speedy quality production. The AMC templates (only for accepted papers) consist of the sample latex file and the AMC class file, both of which can be easily down loaded at the above links, Please also see the resulting sample pdf file.
The authors of all accepted papers should retrieve a Consent to Publish and Copyright Agreement Form, fill it out, sign and email the pdf of a scanned copy to amc@sdu.edu.cn or fax the signed form to (86)-531-8836-5806 or send the hard copy to
AMC Editorial Office, Room 417 School of Mathematics and System Sciences Shandong University Jinan, Shandong 250100, China
Graphics should be in eps format and of high resolution. References should be listed alphabetically, typed and punctuated according to the following examples:
