About the journal
Aims & Scope This journal publishes short communications, research and review articles devoted to the application of geometric methods (including differential geometry, algebraic geometry, global analysis and topology) to quantum field theory, non-perturbative quantum gravity, string and brane theory, quantum mechanics, semi-classical approximations in quantum theory, quantum thermodynamics and statistical physics, quantum computation and control theory.
Instructions to Authors
Submission
Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same paper has not been published and is not being considered for publication by other journals. Every submitted paper will be acknowledged and refereed. A rejected paper will not be returned to the author. Once a paper is accepted for publication in International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, the author is assumed to have transferred the copyright to World Scientific. There is no page charge. The author will receive 20 reprints of his paper free of charge.
Types of Articles IJGMMP accepts three types of articles for publication: (1) Research Articles, (2) Short Communications/Letters, and (3) Review Articles. Research Articles should be less than 35 pages long; Short Communications/Letters should be less than 15 pages long, while Review Articles should be less than 50 pages long, in general.
Submission Process Papers can be submitted in one of the following three ways:
- Web-based Submission
Authors can submit a PDF file via web-based submission. Upon acceptance, authors must submit the source file in LaTeX/TeX or MS Word format.
- E-mail Submission
If the file does not exceed 2MB, authors may send a PDF file via email to the Managing Editor, Prof. G. Sardanashvily at ijgmmp@unicam.it
- Hard Copy Submission
3 hard copies, together with the soft copies in floppy or ZIP disks, should be sent by mail to:
Prof. G. Giachetta Associate Editor of IJGMMP Department of Mathematics and Informatics University of Camerino 62032 Camerino (MC), Italy
Preparation of Manuscript The manuscript, including the abstract, references, tables, figures, and figure captions, must be in English. It must be prepared with double-spacing and ample margins all around the text. Only one side of the paper should be used. For electronic submission, all figures, tables, etc. must be included in the postscript files of the articles.
Abstracts should not be more than 200 words long. Sections should be numbered with arabic numerals. Each page of the manuscript should be numbered at the top. Footnotes should be indicated in the text with superscript letters:a,b,c,etc.
References should be indicated with arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g. [1], in the order of citation. References should be typed at the end of the manuscript. For journal references, the standard abbreviations for journal names should be used. The format for the list of references is as follows:

Figures should be numbered in arabic numerals in the order of appearance in the text. Every figure must have a caption. Tables should be numbered with arabic numerals in the order of appearance. Every table must have a caption, which should be typed above the table.
