About the journal
The wireless communication revolution is bringing fundamental changes to data networking, telecommunication, and is making integrated networks a reality. By freeing the user from the cord, personal communications networks, wireless LAN's, mobile radio networks and cellular systems, harbor the promise of fully distributed mobile computing and communications, any time, anywhere. Numerous wireless services are also maturing and are poised to change the way and scope of communication. Wireless Networks focuses on the networking and user aspects of this field. It provides a single common and global forum for archival value contributions documenting these fast growing areas of interest. The journal publishes refereed articles dealing with research, experience and management issues of wireless networks. Its aim is to allow the reader to benefit from experience, problems and solutions described.
Instructions to Authors
Wireless Networks welcomes submission of original and review articles that fit within the aims and scope of the publication. All submissions will be peer-reviewed and many require substantive revision by the authors prior to acceptance and assignment for publication.

The online manuscript submission and review system for the Wireless Networks offers easy and straightforward log-in and submission procedures. This system supports a wide range of submission file formats, including: for manuscripts - Word, WordPerfect, RTF, TXT, and LaTex; for figures, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, PPT and Postscript. PDF is not an acceptable format.
NOTE: In case you encounter difficulties while submitting your manuscript online, please get in touch with the responsible Editorial Assistant by clicking on "CONTACT US" from the tool bar.

FORMATTING GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTED ARTICLES
To complete the production and final printing of your article, the publisher [or, in the case of Special Issues, the Guest Editor] will need to receive your manuscript in the formats described below as soon as possible.
Text: The publisher will accept all common formats (e.g., Microsoft Word, Wordperfect, LaTeX, etc.) as well as FrameMaker documents as "text only" or ASCII files of a paper. Please note that it would be helpful to supply both the source and the ASCII files of a paper.
Illustrations and Tables: Send illustrations in the best available resolution, preferably 600 dpi, or as line-eps or .ps. DO NOT place them in the text file - DO send them as separate files.
Send original photos in encapsulated postscript (.eps files) or grayscale or cmyk.tif or tiff.
For line-eps (e.g., Illustrator or Freehand files): Fonts might not come through properly. Most line-draw programs allow you to export your drawing as an .eps file. This is better then saving it as a jpeg or tif file.
Gif files: NOT recommended, because of limited color range. Gif images from the web, in general, cannot be used as the resolution is too low.
Tables should be formatted using the table or tab features in the application program being used and also provided in camera-ready form with the hard copy of the manuscript.
Author Biography and Photo: Please include a brief (250 word maximum) biography for each author together with the corresponding mailing and e-mail address. Please include a photograph of each author. WINE publishes black-and-white author photographs at the end of each article. Black-and-white original phots reproduce better, but color photos are acceptable.
COPYRIGHT
It is the policy of Kluwer Academic Publishers to own the copyright of all contributions it publishes. To comply with the U.S. Copyright Law, authors are required to sign a copyright transfer form before publication. Authors must submit a signed copy of this form with their paper to Kluwer.
PROOFREADING
Page proofs for papers to be included in the journal will be sent to the contact author for proofing. The proofread and corrected copy should be received back at Kluwer within 72 hours following receipt.
OFFPRINTS
The author will be entitled to receive 25 free offprints of the paper. In instances of multiple authors, please indicate which author should receive the free offprints.
