About the journal
The New Zealand Veterinary Journal
|
The New Zealand Veterinary Journal publishes original research findings, clinical observations, correspondence and review articles covering all aspects of veterinary science, animal welfare, and animal health aspects of animal science.
The journal specialises in articles related to grassland farming of cattle, sheep and deer, or that are of particular relevance to the New Zealand veterinary profession, but submissions from all disciplines are welcomed. |

|
Now in it's 51st year of publication, the Journal has over 2000 subscribers comprising veterinarians, researchers, academics, government and pharmaceutical industry representatives, and private consultants in more than 40 countries around the world.
The journal publishes general scientific articles, leading articles, reviews, state-of-the-art commentaries, clinical communications, short communications, and correspondence. We aim to have a rapid publication time, in some cases as little as 3 months. All scientific papers submitted for publication are independently refereed, regardless of source, and the opinions of contributors are their own and not necessarily those of the publisher or editor.
