About the journal

Overview
This journal endeavors to publish significant research of broad interests in pure and applied mathematics. One volume is published each year, and each volume consists of six issues (January, March, May, July, September, November).
Editorial Policy
To be published in the Journal, a paper must be correct, new, nontrivial, and significant, Journal Editors encourage publication of papers of length exceeding 10 published pages.
Copyright
A Copyright Transfer Agreement is required before the publication of a paper in this journal. The submission of a paper implies the author's assurance that it has not been copyrighted, published, or submitted for publication elsewhere.
Subscriptions
The subscription price is US$50 per year to individuals and US$100 per year to institutions. The membership subscription is US$80 per year to ordinary members. US$40 per year to student members, and US$240 per year to institutional members.
Members of the KMS receive the issues of the Journal and the Bulletin, which is the companion publication by the KMS, free.

Instructions to Authors
A) Submission of Manuscripts
To submit a paper for publication, an author should send two copies of the manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief or to the appropriate member of the Editorial Board. Manuscripts should be typewritten on one side of the paper, double spaced, and with generous margins. The first page must consist of a descriptive title and the authorship, followed by an abstract. The descriptive title should be short, but informative. The abstract should be at least one complete sentence, and at most 300 words. Included with the footnotes to the paper, there should be the 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification as founded in the annual index of Mathematical Reviews, followed by a list of key words and phrases. The institutional affiliation and address of each author should appear at the end of each manuscript. Authors should supply the editor with electronic addresses if available. References should be collected in alphabetical order at the end of the manuscript and numbered consecutively. Figures must be suitable for photographic reproduction. The KMS recommends that graphics created electronically be saved in EPS format. The KMS encourages preparation of electronically prepared manuscript in AMS-Tex, AMS-LaTex, or TEX; these will be used for production if accepted for publication. Authors are reminded that they should retain a copy of anything submitted for publication. B) Electronic Submission of Manuscripts
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts electronically should send the PDF or PostScript file to kms@kms.or.kr by e-mail.
C) Proofs
Authors receive only one set of proofs for corrections. No alterations or corrections except printing errors will normally be accepted at this point.
D) Offprints
Each author receives 50 offprints of his/her paper. Joint authors receive 50 altogether. Additional offprints can be supplied at cost if ordered and paid for before publication. An order form will be sent with the set of proofs.
Correspondence regarding a paper that has been accepted for publlication should be sent directly to : The Korean Mathematic Society The Korea Science and Technology Center 214 635-4 Yeoksam-dong, Kangnam-ku Seoul. 135-703, Korea Email : kms@kms.or.kr
