Journal of Neuroscience Web-based Submission System
The Journal of Neuroscience launched a Web-based manuscript submission and handling system on Wednesday May 21, 2003. Click here for more information.
The Journal of Neuroscience (ISSN 0270-6474) is the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience, 11 Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036. It is published weekly (except for the last two weeks of December) by the Society, one volume a year.
Subscriptions are on a volume basis beginning with the January 1 issue. For more information, visit the subscriptions section on this Web site.
Claims will be honored if received within three (3) months of the month of issue. A maximum of three (3) single-issue claims will be honored per volume per subscriber. Society for Neuroscience members interested in subscribing to the Journal at a reduced rate should contact the Society's Membership Department (phone 202-462-6688). Society members should also direct back issue requests and changes of address to the Society.

The Journal of Neuroscience is the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience. The Journal publishes papers on a broad range of topics of general interest to those working on the nervous system. All papers accepted for publication in the Journal will appear simultaneously in both the print and online medium. Brief Communications (formerly Rapid Communications) are published in a separate section at the front of the Journal and are intended for fast publication of exciting and timely findings that are of high impact and broad interest. Submissions for the Brief Communications section of the Journal should conform to the Brief Communications Instructions for Authors.
