About the journal
Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy (ISSN 1471-2598) is published monthly from January until April, and then bimonthly from April until December (total eight issues). It is an essential source of peer-reviewed articles focusing on emerging biotherapeutic drugs and technologies.
Through systematic review and evaluation, Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy covers all aspects of biological therapy, from therapeutic peptides and proteins to gene transfer technologies and drug delivery systems, placing new advances in the context of current therapeutic practice and providing an expert opinion on the scope for future development.
The field will be divided in to six major sections, which will be covered in each issue:
- Gene Therapy
- Vaccines & Antibodies
- Delivery
- Cell & Tissue-based Therapies
- Peptides, Proteins & Antisense
- Cytokines & Chemokines
Each issue of the journal will contain a series of expertly drafted articles including:
- Editorials - provide a concise overview of current issues, placing new developments in today's research environment and identifying unique areas of interest.
- Reviews - devised to cover all aspect of biological therapy, highlighting the recent advances in the field and the potential application in a clinical setting, and providing a forum for world leaders to express their own opinions on the area.
- Drug Evaluations - provide an independent perspective on the pharmacological and clinical information on a compound which has yet to reach the market.
- Meeting Highlights - present the most up-to-date research information from the important scientific meetings and review novel developments in the field.

Instructions to Authors
The Commissioning Editor, under the advice of the Editorial Board, solicits articles published in Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy. However, suggestions for article topics (and potential authors) are welcome, subject to final approval by the Editors and Editorial Board. If you are interested in preparing an article, please contact the Commissioning Editor (anna@ashley-pub.com) with your proposal and an outline.
