Evaluation & The Health Professions is designed to provide a forum for all health professionals interested or engaged in development, implementation, and evaluation of health programs. Original manuscripts are invited that deal with results of evaluation studies, instructional innovations, progress reports, and updates.

Evaluation & the Health Professions provides a forum for distinguished health care practitioners, researchers, planners, policy makers, and students to examine the development, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs and interventions.

Multidisciplinary Perspective

For over 25 years, Evaluation & the Health Professions has offered a broad, multidisciplinary perspective of complex health care issues through original research that focuses on the results of evaluation studies, instructional innovations, progress reports, and updates. Articles often influence the design of health care programs and shape clinical practice and policy.

Instructions to Authors

 

Submission Manuscript Guidelines:
EVALUATION & THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS is designed to provide a forum for all health professionals interested or engaged in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health programs. Original manuscripts are invited which deal with results of evaluation studies, instructional innovations, progress reports, and updates. The editors welcome the submission of articles dealing with the philosophical, technical, and political aspects of evaluation which are unique to the health professions. MANUSCRIPTS should be submitted to the editor of EVALUATION & THE HEALTH PROFESSIONS, R. Barker Bausell, Complemetary Medicine Program, University of Maryland School of Medicine, Kernan Hospital Mansion, 2200 Kernan Drive, Baltimore, MD 21207-6697. Articles should not exceed 30 typewritten double-spaced pages with notes, references, tables and figures on separate pages, and should follow the guidelines set forth in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (4th edition). An abstract of 100-150 words, as well as a brief biographical paragraph describing each author's current affiliation, research interests, and recent publications, should accompany the manuscript. Since manuscripts are sent out anonymously for evaluation. the author's name and affiliation should appear only on a separate covering page
