About the journal
Since beginning publication in 1965, this journal has established a reputation as a reliable source of information, providing physicians and other health-care professionals with practical, up-to-date monographs on recently approved and just-launched drugs.
Drug monographs are prepared by leading specialists after a rigorous review of the literature and from information provided by pharmaceutical companies. Annually, more than 40 new products reach their first markets, while new indications and new formulations for known drugs are registered.
Review articles present the latest information on specific classes of drugs.
"The Story So Far" section focuses on our current understanding of the mechanisms of action of the most widely prescribed and clinically effective drugs available and highlights research on new indications under investigation.
Supplementary issues devoted to recently marketed drugs and symposia proceedings are periodically published and provided to subscribers at no additional charge. Supplements are written by leading specialists on the basis of current scientific literature and their own experience.
