About ADM
Aims and Scope Archiv der Mathematik (ADM) publishes original contributions, preferably not longer than 10 printed pages, from the entire field of mathematics and its applications which are of interest to a large readership. Short but comprehensive authors' summaries of longer works which are not yet published, as well as limited number of survey articles, are also published. The journal is well known for its emphasis on papers dealing with solutions of problems in classical and modern mathematics which are not overly technical in nature.

Instructions to Authors
Notes to AuthorsAuthorship Submission of a manuscript implies
- that the work described has not been published before;
- that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;
- that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher; and
- that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any language without the consent of the copyright holder.
Submission of Manuscripts Archives of Mathematics publishes research papers in every area of Mathematics and its direct applications. They should have a maximal length of 10 printed pages. Exceptionally, longer articles can be accepted if this is justified by their scientific importance. In addition, the journal publishes survey articles treating a topical subject. Manuscripts in English, French, German or Italian can be submitted to any editor of the journal. Two one-sided copies are requested. They should be preceded by an abstract (up to 15 lines) and the Mathematics Subject Classification (1991). The authors are kindly asked to match their typographical style to the usual standard in Archives of Mathematics. References should be given in alphabetical order and cited by numbers in brackets, using the abbreviations defined in the Mathematical Reviews. Manuscripts and abstracts should be written in TeX if possible. Once the paper is accepted for publication, authors will be asked to send a TeX-file on a DOS-formatted disc which also contains some special macros. Fonts and symbols defined by the authors should be explained on a separate sheet of paper.
