About the journal
The Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry contribute to an enlargement of the international exchange of research results in the fields of global analysis and geometry. The journal treats, in particular, global problems of geometry and analysis as well as the interactions between these fields and their application to problems of theoretical physics. The areas covered include: global analysis, differential geometry, complex manifolds and related results from complex analysis and algebraic geometry, Lie groups, Lie transformation groups and harmonic analysis, variational calculus, applications of differential geometry and global analysis to problems of theoretical physics. Authors may submit papers through any member of the Editorial Board or send them directly to the Editorial Office.
Indexing/Abstracting Services
Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry is indexed/abstracted in COMPUMATH Citation Index; Current Mathematical Publications; The ISI Alerting Services; Mathematical Reviews database; MathSci; Science Citation Index Expanded; Zentralblatt MATH
Instructions to Authors
- The editorial board will do everything to ensure prompt publication. An essential precondition for this is top quality presentation of each manuscript. It is a fundamental condition that submitted papers have not been published and will not simultaneously be submitted or published elsewhere. The papers should be submitted in English and they should be as concise as possible, without detracting from clarity, and contain new results with complete proofs. Manuscripts with predominantly survey character will not be published in the Annals.
- Manuscripts must include abstract, key words, MSC classification, and bibliography. Authors should state their names and full mailing addresses. In case of several authors, please give the addresses of all of them and indicate one main address. Illustrations and large or complex diagrams should be attached separately on white sheets. Legends are to be written within the text, in the place the figure is to appear.
- References to the literature should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper. For journals, proceedings, and books they should be cited as follows: [1] CHEEGER, J.: Analytic torsion and the heat equation. Ann. of Math. 109 (1979), 259-322; [2] EARL, C.: Teichm¨¹ller theory. In: Discrete groups and automorphic functions. (Ed.: W. Harvey.) New York: Academic Press 1977, pp. 145-162; [3] LASCOUX, A; BERGER, M.: Vari¨¦t¨¦s Kähleriennes compactes. Lecture Notes in Math. 154, Springer-Verlag 1970.
- Authors should consider the realistic positioning of larger formulas. Formulas should be clearly and legibly typed or handwritten. Please differentiate between easily confused letters and symbols: e and l, l and 1, n and u, o or O and 0, r and v, x and x; do not use oblique lines instead of brackets.
- Manuscripts should be written with LaTeX (http://www.wkap.nl/authors/jrnlstylefiles/) and must be submitted to:
Journals Editorial Office AGAG Kluwer Academic Publishers P.O. Box 990 3300 AZ Dordrecht The Netherlands Tel.: +(31) 78 6576000 Fax: +(31) 78 6576254 One original (with diskette) and three copies of the manuscript are required. All insertions concerning writing instructions need to be made in one copy only.
- Type faces must be distinguished carefully in the manuscript by using the following methods of marking: italics, blue; bold italics, blue twice; Greek, red; script, yellow; bold, straight black. Please do not underline the exponential e, the imaginary unit i, and the differential d; encircle the number ¦Ð in red. Standard symbols, like ¦Ò ¦¸ and ¦Ò i, need not to be marked in particular.
- Corrections in the proof-sheet are limited to mistakes that occurred during the editorial preparation. Please return the corrected proof-sheets within three days.
- Fifty offprints of each paper are supplied free of charge. No page charges are levied on authors or institutions.
- Annals of Global Analysis and Geometry is surveyed by Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt f¨¹r Mathematik.
