About the journal

The American Journal of Medical Quality is the official Journal of the American College of Medical Quality. Selection of Manuscripts Members of the Editorial Board and other experts review papers, and an author is notified of a decision within ten weeks of receipt. Manuscripts must reflect the original work of the author(s), must not have been published previously, and are subject to the Copyright Revision Act of 1978. Papers will be edited for clarity, conciseness, and style. Any manuscript needing extensive editing will be returned to the author. The galleys will be sent to the author for approval. Please note that changes made at the galley stage by the author will be billed to the author.
