About the journal
Ediciones ARQ is a Chilean non-profit publisher, owned by the Catholic University of Chile. Since 1980 we have published more than 50 books and magazine issues on architecture and its associated disciplines. Our main objective has been to publicize and promote an appreciation of the architecture of Chile and South America. The contents of each publication cover the areas of criticism and theory, seeking a balance between the professional and the academic.
Ediciones ARQ is directly dependent on the University's School of Architecture, which has kept it in direct contact with an international network of architecture faculties, including Harvard's GSD, ETSAB, Spain, the faculty of Architecture and Town Planning of Universidad Central, Venezuela, and the Universidad Torcuato de Tella, Argentina. Exchanges, discussions and encounters among teachers and architects of the highest level, Chilean and foreign, provide form and content to ARQ's publications.
Instructions to Authors
Sección Obras y proyectos / Revista ARQ
Pauta para la publicación de obras y proyectos.
-Planimetría: Archivos digitales en formato dwg, adjuntando archivo ctb para verificar grosores de líneas. Se recomienda eliminar cotas, notas y detalles del dibujo, pensando en el formato de la revista y el tamaño final de la publicación; igualmente recomendamos adjuntar como borradores planos impresos en formato carta o doble carta, que incluyan escala gráfica e indicación de norte.
-Fotografías: Mínimo 5. Sólo diapositivas 35 mm, placas fotográficas o imágenes digitales de 300 dpi y 25 cm de ancho.Toda imagen no original y que corresponda a imágenes de archivo u otros medios impresos deber enviarse con sus fuentes explícitas y completas. Igualmente se debe indicar autoría de las imágenes originales.
-Memoria o texto central: Breve síntesis de la obra, máximo 800 palabras.
-Currículum resumido autor(es): Máximo 50 palabras, incluyendo títulos profesionales, universidad y año de titulación, títulos de post grados con instituciones y fechas, y cualquier filiación institucional relevante.
-Ficha técnica obra, versión impresa y respaldo digital (formato Word):
