Husserl Studies is an international journal which underlines the relevance of Husserl’s phenomenology, both for contemporary philosophy and for the wider academic field. The journal aims to be a forum for Husserlian studies, both systematic and historical. The publication of important texts from Husserl’s Nachlass makes such a forum even more necessary. Intercultural and interdisciplinary contributions are encouraged. Occasionally, material either by Husserl himself or connected with the historical background of his thought will be published in the journal.
Instructions to Authors
Articles should be solidly based on adequate textual research into Husserl’s writings and take into account the relevant discussion in the field. Fresh approaches in Husserl's vein and texts of an interpretative or comparative nature will be welcomed. Articles written either in English or German should be submitted electronically as an MS Word document, and sent as an email attachment to the Journal's Editor, William R. McKenna (email: mckennwr@muohio.edu).
Husserl Studies also contains critical reviews of current Husserl literature, as well as reviews of other philosophical works which have a direct bearing on Husserl research. Review copies, book reviews and review inquiries should be sent to Sebastian Luft, Department of Philosophy, Coughlin Hall, Suite 130, Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI 53201-1881, USA.
