American Studies in Scandinavia is currently edited by Per Winther, at the Department of British and American Studies, University of Oslo, Norway. The book reviews editor is Arne Neset of Stavanger College, Norway.

Instructions to Authors

Submission of Manuscripts

The journal's editors welcome manuscripts on subjects in American Studies of a single or an interdisciplinary nature. All submissions must be in English and should be typewritten or, preferably, printed from a diskette enclosed with the manuscript. The journal is prepared using Macintosh computers and Microsoft software. Footnotes should be numbered consecutively and contain bibliographical information, including author, title, publisher, place and year of publication, and page references, which normally should not intrude into the text. Discursive notes should be kept to a minimum. While there are no absolute limits set for the length of articles, in practice most range between 3500 and 6000 words. The first page should include the title followed by the name of the author and the name of the institution (in English) with which the author is affiliated. A style sheet may be obtained from the editors or Charlotte Granly.
