Come recita il suo nuovo sottotitolo – Studies in Renaissance and Early Modern Science – l’obiettivo di Galilæana è pubblicare studi sulla vita e l’opera di Galileo, non solo attraverso ricerche dedicate alla sua figura, ma anche con studi che si concentrano su temi della prima età moderna. Galilæana è sostenuta dal Museo Galileo e ha una pubblicazione annuale sotto gli auspici dell’Università di Firenze, dell’Università di Padova, l’Università di Pisa e la Domus Galilæana. Un indice dei fascicoli arretrati include le tavole dei contenuti degli articoli pubblicati, indicazioni sul reperimento delle fonti (manoscritti e lavori a stampa, materiale iconografico) e i link alle copie digitalizzate in un archivio, al quale si può accedere dal sito web del Museo Galileo www.museogalileo.it/galilaeana.html
As indicated by its new subtitle - Studies in Renaissance and Early Modern Science - the objective of Galilaeana is to publish studies on the life and work of Galileo, as well as research not directly pertaining to Galileo, but which nevertheless focuses on related figures and themes from the early modern period. Galilaeana is sponsored by the Museo Galileo and is published annually under the auspices of the University of Florence, the University of Padua, and University of Pisa, and the Domus Galilaeana. An index of all past issues of Galilaeana, including the tables of contents of the articles published, lists of the accompanying source material and documentation (manuscripts and printed works, iconographic material), and links to digitalized copies of the material in this archive, may be accessed at the website of the Museo Galileo www.museogalileo.it/galilaeana.html
