OTECHESTVENNAYA ISTORIYA(ROSSIISKAYA ISTORIYA) is published in the English and Russian languages annually and results on human sciences, art, social sciences and areas directly related to them. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original papers, review articles, case reports, recommendations, conference reports, book reviews, announcements, letters to the editor and calendars of events associated with the human sciences. Papers should be written concisely and succinctly, with regard to the existing nomenclatures. The editors reserve the right to make amendments and changes stylistic nomenclatures. If the editors will make significant changes in the content of the work, then the author is always given to the inspection and acceptance of the print job with the composition of the proposed changes. Papers should be written using a standard text editor (for example., Microsoft Word) according to the following guidelines. You must provide two copies of a work on paper A4 format with a wide margin on the left side (4 cm), after about 30 lines per page. The following paragraphs should begin indented. Job title, keywords (three to six words) and abstract should also be submitted in English. It is recommended that each original work was divided into parts, such: Introduction; Materials and methods; Results; Talk; Conclusions. To upload text printing jobs and set numbered prints (2 copies) should include:
a) a letter, in which the first author asks the editors of print in the journal (this is the formal consent of the author on the publication of work), gives his full address, phone number, e-mail address and signature, together with the academic title and position held ; b) a written declaration that the work has not been previously published in print and has not been submitted to another editor. When using figures previously published should be accompanied by the written consent of the authors and publishers for their use;
c) described the CD containing the text of all the work, including illustrations. If you use a custom text editor should be added the file in RTF or ASCII. The content of the electronic version must be identical to the print sent. Electronic versions of the illustrations should be sent in separate files.
The quality of prints shall permit their direct reproduction. It is recommended that the choice of format prints to their width be about. 8 cm (one column) or 16 cm (two columns). Photographs, ultrasonogramy, radiographs should be the smallest possible clipping of the original, you need to understand their content. They must be sharp and contrast. If the figures are not compiled on a scale of 1: 1, then the size of the descriptions and thickness should be selected so as to retain legibility after appropriate deduction. Please note that some figures obtained by means of printers and recorders are not suitable for direct reproduction and require a redraw. All scans bitmap must have a resolution of at least 300 dpi and be saved in TIF or jpg format. Placing color illustrations must be agreed with the editors. Reference list should be drawn up according to the following formulas

If the cited work is more than four authors, then in the list of references should be followed by 'et al.' Titles of articles reported in the literature should be given in the original version, and the abbreviations of journals according to Index Medicus or journalseek. Reference list should not include unpublished data, personal information, or work that is in preparation. Recourse to such sources can only occur in the text. Before you print job is sent to the first author (unless otherwise agreed) the correction to be made with generally accepted proofing marks. Making significant changes to the text and adding the correction needs to be agreed with the editors. Received a copy of the work, after the correction of the author promptly return to the Editor. Reference delay correction may prevent the removal of errors noted by the author. Changes and exceptions to the above rules must be agreed with the editors.
