If it's important to literature, it will be in Contemporary Literature. Where will the field go next? Contemporary Literature leads the way with: In-depth interviews with significant writers, including Pat Barker, Alice McDermott, Medbh McGuckian, Joseph O'Connor, and Susan Wheeler. Broad-ranging articles and reviews written by leaders in the field, including H. Porter Abbott, Michael Davidson, Patrick Deer, Rachel Blau DuPlessis, Daylanne K. English, Mark B. N. Hansen, Stephanie Sandler, Ankhi Mukherjee, Rolland Murray, Alan Nadel, Deborah Nelson, Josephine Nock-Hee Park, William Paulson, Brian Reed, Lynn Keller, Cheryl Wall, and Priscilla L. Walton. Contemporary Literature covers the whole range of critical practices, and brings new vitality and perspective to contemporary literary studies. Instructions to Authors Submissions Contemporary Literature seeks scholarly essays on post-World War II literature which offer scope, supply a new dimension to conventional approaches, or transform customary ways of reading writers. Style We prefer a length of 25-35 pages, normal-size type, double-spaced throughout. The editors cannot review manuscripts that are simultaneously under consideration elsewhere and cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage of any work submitted. Review Manuscripts may be submitted at any time; the review process generally takes 4-6 months.
