About the journal
Círculo de Lingüística Aplicada a la Comunicación se propone difundir en diferentes lenguas el conocimiento sobre la comunicación que proporciona la teoría lingüística aplicada a la realidad del uso. Sus cuatro números anuales (febrero, mayo, septiembre, noviembre) publican artículos evaluados por miembros del comité editorial y expertos invitados, reseñas e informaciones sobre revistas y congresos. Las cartas al director con comentarios o réplicas son bienvenidas. ISSN 1576-4737
Círculo de Lingüística Aplicada a la Comunicación /circle of Linguistics Applied to Communication aims at making knowledge about communication accessible in different languages, from the viewpoint of linguistic theory applied to real usage. Its four issues per year (February, May, September, November) publish articles refereed by editorial board members and invited experts, book reviews, conference calls and information on journals. Letters to the editor with comments or rejoinders are welcome. ISSN 1576-4737

Instructions to Authors
Articles, reviews, information on Electronic journals and conference calls are welcome at circulo at ccinf ucm es, as well as proposals for special issues from prospective editors. Submissions are assessed in blind evaluation by editorial board members and invited experts.
Articles, both in a word and a pdf blind file named after a key word in the title, should have a contents of numbered sections (without a zero one), an abstract and four key words; if griten in Basque, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish (other languages may be considered) both in that language and title, abstract and four key words in English, without the author’s name for blind review. Quotations or any other mention leading to the author’s identification are to be avoided. Please provide
in a separate file the author’s name(s), affiliation(s), a short cv, and institutional email address(es) and webpage(s).
Publication time depends on the evaluation process and may take up to one year. Articles are published in the issue immediately after this evaluation process is completed. Once the article is accepted, authors are requested to provide a file, where identifying references may be added, following style conventions in current articles already on the web (such as Times New Roman 12 points, 1.5 spaced, etc.) and using the blueprints at http://www.ucm.es/info/circulo/plantilla.doc and, for the abstract and short cv page, a file like http://www.ucm.es/info/circulo/blueprintA.doc.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- El artículo no ha sido publicado previamente, ni se ha presentado a otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación en Comentarios al editor).
- El fichero enviado está en formato OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, o WordPerfect.
- Se han añadido direcciones web para las referencias donde ha sido posible.
- Se han añadido las referencias DOI en los casos en que existen.
- El texto cumple con los requisitos bibliográficos y de estilo indicados en las Normas para autoras/es, que se pueden encontrar en Acerca de la revista.
- Si esta enviando a una sección de la revista que se revisa por pares, tiene que asegurase que las instrucciones en Asegurando de una revisión a ciegas) han sido seguidas.
