About the journal
Aims and Scope
Since its foundation in 1935, Theoria publishes research in all areas of philosophy. Theoria is committed to precision and clarity in philosophical discussions, and encourages cooperation between philosophy and other disciplines. The journal is not affiliated with any particular school or faction. Instead, it promotes dialogues between different philosophical viewpoints.
Theoria is peer-reviewed. It publishes articles, reviews, and shorter notes and discussions. Short discussion notes on recent articles in Theoria are welcome.

Books reviews are by invitation only. For information, contact the editor at theoria@infra.kth.se.
Conditions of submission
By submitting an article to Theoria, the author assures that the article is not previously published under consideration for publication
elsewhere and that (s)he will not submit it for publication elsewhere until (s)he has received Theoria's editorial decision or has withdrawn the article.

Manuscript submission
Before submission please ensure that you have prepared your material according to the journal guidelines and that you have current and accurate e-mail
addresses for each author. Manuscripts should be submitted to the following website: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/theo
Full submission instructions can be found on this website. If you do not have access to the internet, please contact the Theoria
office to discuss alternative means of submission.
Please note that revisions to manuscripts that were not initially submitted to the website, should be sent as an e-mail attachment to the editorial
assistant e-mail address.
A cover letter should be submitted with your manuscript and must include a statement that the data have not been published, and are not under
consideration for publication elsewhere. It will be presumed that all listed authors of a manuscript have agreed to the listing and have seen
and approved the manuscript.
Contributions should be submitted via the ScholarOne Manuscripts site (instructions above). Authors of articles containing copyright material, such as photographic reproductions, must provide the General Editor with proof of the copyright holder's permission to reproduce the material before the article can be published in the journal.
Copyright Assignment Form.
Authors will be required to sign a Copyright Assignment Form (CAF) for all papers accepted for publication. Signature of the CAF is a condition of
publication and papers will not be passed to the publisher for production unless a signed form has been received.
(Government employees need to complete the Author Warranty sections, although copyright in such cases does not need to be assigned).
