Edited by Morton D. Paley, the first issue ran to nine pages, was available for a yearly subscription rate of two dollars for four issues, and included the fateful words, "As far as editorial policy is concerned, I think the Newsletter should be just that--not an incipient journal." The production office of the Newsletter relocated to the University of New Mexico when Morris Eaves became co-editor in 1970, and then moved with him in 1986 to its present home at the University of Rochester. We now have available an index for the journal Blake Studies. Instructions to Authors Subscriptions Subscriptions are $30 for individuals ($25 for students and primary and secondary teachers) and $60 for institutions. All subscriptions are by the volume (four issues per year) and begin with the summer issue (the subscription year runs July 1 to June 30). Payments received after the summer issue will be applied to the four issues of the current volume. Non U.S. addresses (except Canada and Mexico) require a $15 surcharge for surface delivery, or $20 for airmail. Valid forms of payment are check, credit card (Visa or Mastercard), bank draft, or international money order in U.S. currency. Send two copies, typed and documented according to forms suggested in The MLA Style Manual, and with pages numbered, to either Morton Paley or Morris Eaves at the addresses listed under Editors.
