Articles in English should follow the guidelines of The SBL Handbook of Style for citations of ancient texts, bibliographical references and abbreviations. Articles in French and German should approximate this style as far as possible. For the submission of manuscripts including Greek and/or Hebrew, see the Brill guidelines and suggestions with regard to the use of Greek and Hebrew script (available from the editor). Articles should contain a 100-150-word abstract and 2-6 keywords. Articles should be original work, not submitted simultaneously elsewhere. Articles will normally be put through a system of blind refereeing. Authors receive galley proofs for proofreading. Page proofs are read by the editors. Authors of articles are entitled to 1 complimentary copy of the issue their article appears in plus an e-offprint, authors of reviews will only receive an e-offprint. The publisher reserves the right to charge authors for changes made to proofs other than correction of compositor¡¯s errors.
